Step 1: Find Parking

Downtown Danville has free parking all over town and time limits will not be enforced. Please see this downtown Danville parking guide. Parking is limited, so we recommend Ubering or sharing rides with friends. A few parking spots around town that are worth noting:

  • Front Street Parking lot: Located by the Village Theatre
  • Danville Sycamore Valley Park & Ride: 1000 Sycamore Valley Rd, Danville, CA 94526
  • San Ramon Valley High School parking lot: Free parking after 3:45 PM on Friday through Sunday.

Check out our hotel and transport guide for more details.

Here’s a list of addresses you’ll want to keep handy:

  • Prospect Park Plaza (check-in, information booth)
  • Village Theatre Danville (Town welcome, cast panels, performances): 233 Front St, Danville, CA 94526
  • Danville Community Center (Photo ops): 420 Front Street Danville, CA
  • Veterans Memorial (Autographs and Selfies on most days – please see the schedule): 400 Hartz Ave, Danville CA
  • Hap Magee Ranch (pop-up, free arts and crafts, General Store, pre-sold picnic in the park, coffee cart, vendor market): 1025 La Gonda Wy, Danville, CA 94526

Step 2: Check in for the festival

NOTE: General Admission ticket holders do not have to check in. Only passholders with All-Access, Townie, In Trivia Paratus, concert, and other ticketed experiences need to check in and pick up their wrist bands.

There are TWO check-in locations and you can check in at any of these times/places throughout the weekend:

Hyatt House San Ramon (hotel lobby)

  • October 22–24: 6–9 PM

Prospect Park Plaza, Danville

  • October 22 @ 3–6 PM
  • October 23–25 @ 8–11 AM (if you show up late, don’t worry! Our information table will be out all day long and we can take care of late check-ins)

Step 3: Go to your activity (scheduled or otherwise)

Based on what’s included in your ticket, head to your next activity. Check the schedule for daily events. You might have a photo op, autograph session, cast panel, or other activity scheduled depending on your ticket.

If you have General Admission, check the festival map for guidance and activity idea. Here are some free things you can do:

Step 4: Hop on a shuttle to Hap Magee Ranch

We’re turning Hap Magee ranch into a New England-inspired autumn wonderland! We’ve got a pumpkin patch, a bandstand dolled up for photo ops, a General Store pop-up, a Reading Corner with a coffee cart, book signings, vendor marketplace, picnic lunch, and so much more!

Free things to do at Hap Magee Ranch

The following activities are free as long as you have any kind of ticket (including an All-Access pass, photo op, picnic lunch, etc.).

  • Free shuttle access to/from Hap Magee Ranch (pick-up point is on Front Street, right in front of the Village Theatre).
  • Free arts & crafts at The Cottage
  • Free Pop Culture trivia sessions at Magee House
  • Reading corner (hang out, read, relax with a good book) – coffee for sale
